On August 30th and 31st We closed the salon down for TWO FULL DAYS! For a very special once in a lifetime opportunity with Stylist extraordinaire, Jay Mahmood. Jay has just been named Global Artistic Ambassador for haircutting at Goldwell. He now leads the creation and development of haircutting collections and education for Goldwell WORLDWIDE, and we were so lucky to have him in our salon! Our Stylist were in awe of his meticulous talents. We learned precise sectioning, new cutting techniques, Jay had a way of teaching like no other Artist has taught us before.
Jay began his career as a Sassoon apprentice in London, where he quickly became one of the youngest Academy leaders in the company’s history. He then took the lead at the prestigious Allilion Academy in London and has since, led shows and seminars around the world, demonstrating his creative cutting style.
JAY “The thing I love most about my job is having the opportunity to travel around the world teaching and inspiring others in the craft of haircutting, said Jay. I am thrilled at the opportunity to be working with Goldwell and helping them to develop new education and artistry in haircutting.”

With that being said, Jay went above and beyond to fulfill his promise at Tribute. We cannot thank him enough for spending two days sharing his knowledge and talents with us.
